Ready. Set. GO!
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it is already the new year! I’m sure most of you set resolutions and new year goals already. Setting these goals isn’t a problem; the main issue is maintaining them. But don’t worry! You’re not alone. With these tips, you will be able to maintain these goals and succeed!
Just like everything we do, we have to prep before moving onto the next step.
Point 1: Write it down
Thinking about our goals and the end results are sure inspiring, but in order to reach those dreams we have to tie those flying dreams to the ground that way we can be sure that they won’t flat away from our reach.
Put it in front of you whether it is on your desk or behind your door so you’re always reminded of your goals. Next to it, you could add some inspirational quotes or phrases to keep yourself motivated. You got this!
Point 2: Not too high up in the clouds
Don’t get too carried away when setting these goals. This is very important or else you will either be exhausted or easily be discouraged. Remember to schedule in breathing room!
Point 3: Motivation!
Whether it is through people or books, surround yourself with things that will help keep you motivated and on the path to success. We aren’t made to do things alone, so let some help guide you!
Point 4: Have an accountability partner
Having someone to keep you accountable helps a lot! Who knows maybe you’ll inspire them to set the same goal – buddies!
Point 5: Have deadlines, but space it out
Deadlines are good motivations when we set goals. Set a deadline of when you want to accomplish the resolution. If you have a big objective, then split it up into smaller goals and set deadlines for those checkpoints.
Now you’re ready to venture off into 2018 and accomplish those resolutions! Find a buddy. Surround yourself with inspiration! You got this (and deep down inside you know this)! For those who haven’t set any goals yet, it’s never too late to start!
